Request access.
Tell us what you sell and to which businesses. Platforms can ask for early access to the API; agencies and web studios can ask for a free pilot of up to 25 scouted leads.
Free for agencies: a pilot of up to 25 scouted leads in one market and one business type. No contract, no card.

For software, payments and marketplace companies
If you sell to local businesses, ScoutedLead can find the ones that fit your product and deliver them to your systems. Choose “A software or marketplace company” in the form and tell us:
- what your product does and who buys it;
- the markets you sell in;
- where leads should go: the API feed or a webhook, a CSV file, or your CRM.
We reply with a time for a short call. After it, we write a playbook for your product and test it against businesses checked by hand in your vertical. Then we issue your API key, and the first run covers one market.
For agencies, web studios and freelancers
Choose “An agency or web studio” in the form and name one market and one type of business. The pilot is free: up to 25 scouted leads, each with its reason, the evidence, the contact details the business publishes and a draft first email you review and send yourself.
You judge the leads before you pay for anything. There’s no contract and no card, and you can stop at any point. Read more on the page for agencies.
What happens after you send it
A person reads every request. Aaron VanSledright, who founded 45Squared, replies by email, usually within one business day, and suggests a time for a call if it looks like a fit.
If it doesn’t fit, we say so plainly, with the reason. Requests from businesses asking not to be contacted go to the do-not-contact list, never to a sales follow-up. If that’s why you’re here, the page for businesses explains how it works.
Common questions
Why "up to" 25 leads?
Because we only hand over a lead when its reason checks out. In some markets and business types, fewer than 25 businesses have a problem we can show with evidence, and we won’t pad the count with weak ones. If that happens, we tell you how many we found and why, and you can pick another market or business type.
Which markets can we choose?
Most of the United States. For now we don’t scout businesses in California or anywhere in Canada, so pick a market outside both. Within that, choose one city or metro area and one type of business, such as salons in Grand Rapids or roofers in Columbus. We’ll say on the call if your choice is too narrow to fill.
What does it cost after the pilot?
We don’t publish prices. After the pilot, agencies get the options with their pilot results, so they can weigh them against what the leads turned into. Platforms get a quote after a short call, once we know their markets, their volume and where the leads should go. There’s no obligation to continue after a pilot.
